Typically all OUXI V8 electric bike are locked by factory default to comply with regulations in various localities (25 Kph). For OUXI ebike US version may have “secret” menu options to remove max speed settings. Here below step-by-step instruction guide to remove the speed limit on Fatbike OUXI V8 and OUXI C80 Mini e-bikes with the OUXI V8 1.0, 2.0/3.0 and 4.0 V8 fatbike display.
Please note: OUXI V8 fatbike max speed unlock is only possible on US versions. All EU models are factory-locked to 25 km/h and cannot be changed due to regulatory compliance.

Before You Begin
Make sure your OUXI fatbike V8 or C80 Mini US version.
This tutorial works only for U.S. models where the top speed can be unlocked.
⚠️ European models are locked at 25 km/h due to local laws and cannot be unlocked.
How to unlock throttle on OUXI V8 1.0 electric bike
Turn on the OUXI V8 electric bike.
Press “+” and “-” at the same time to access V8 fat ebike display setting (P1-0). Set the value to 2.
Press “+” and “-” to save and exit display setting.
Unlock Max Speed on OUXI V8 Fatbike 2.0
Remove fatbike OUXI V8 2.0 display speed limits:
Press and hold up and down.
With M presses to P8.
Press and hold the down button.
Code is 8252 and M to enter the code.
Adjust value to 50.
Hold M and turn on again.
Reset OUXI V8 Max or C80 Mini ebike to 25 KM is just the same but set value to 25 and Hold M + down.
OUXI V8 3.0 display screen with a green sticker is limited which means you can’t increase the speed limit.
How to Remove Speed Limit on OUXI V8 4.0
Power On the OUXI Electric Bike
Press and hold the Power (开关) button on the remote to turn on the display.
Enter Advanced OUXI V8 4.0 Display Settings
Long press the “I” (信息) button for 2–3 seconds to access the parameter settings menu.
Navigate to Speed Limit Menu
Use the “I” button to scroll through the menu until you reach parameter P08 (or B08 on some models).
This is the speed limit setting.
Enter Password (if required)
If prompted, enter the password:
8252Use “+” / “-” buttons to select each digit.
Press “I” button to confirm each digit.
Adjust OUXI V8 4.0 Display Speed Limit
After entering the password, use the “+” button to increase the speed limit.
Set it to 50 km/h (approx. 30 mph) for full unlocked performance.
Save Settings
Long press the “I” button again to save and exit.
Your speed limit is now updated!
